Does anyone have any advice how to effectively manage bedroom space? I've gone from having my own 1 bedroom to sharing an apartment The bedroom is 13ft x 11ft. Nice large window and walk in closet. I'll probably have a king size bed which will take up a lot of space. Any ideas on where I can go to buy inexpensive space saver products?

Ikea, if that is available where u are. Use a lot of stylish hat boxes for storage, they are pretty and keep clutter out of site. Also try faux leather boxes, those are good as well. Make sure you can store under the bed, vital. Some stores sell storage boxes on castor wheels that you can slide under the bed.
1ikea is great or try amazon and even lillianvernon.com- they have good deals and quality things.
2Ikea is great for space saving and try the Container Store as well. I've used wall shelves to help with storage in addition to underbed storage.
3Good question! I have one good sized bedroom with NO closet in the room and a small closet in the hall.. and that is it. I DESPERATELY need cheap storage ideas!!
4I agree with the Ikea suggestion. Also, there are ways to create storage space under your bed, including short but wide containers and post raisers you can get at places like Bed, Bath and Beyond.
5I have recently had to try and condense my stuff too. It is good time to go through and get rid of the nonessentials (I donated my old, gently used items to the local Family Resource Center for the less fortunate in the community). Also, I know you are looking for storage for inside your apartment, but look into storage in your area, it may not be too expensive. That way you get to keep your items nearby, but they aren't cluttering up your apartment (your roommate will appreciate that too).
