I was tired of making shopping lists, thinking that I had remembered everything, only to find out that I was out of some vital ingredient, So my solution was a shopping list that listed everything I use (with a few things I add on as I go) Ok this is how it works , I drop the list into a plastic sheet protector , and as I make my weekly menu I go through each meal and with a dry erase marker and strike through everything I need, then as I am walking down the aisles I clear the Items off as I put them in my shopping cart. Feel free to ask me any questions, and here's my base list.
if you'd like the file let me know, it was made using Word Perfect.

That's a great idea! I have a sheet of paper I print out and stick on my fridge. It has all the basics I get often with little check boxes next to them. And then also a column of empty lines for all the random stuff. It helps me SO much!!
1YAY! Someone else like me!
2lol There's at least one more of us out there! I stole the idea from a friend when I spotted it on *her* fridge.
3Oh that's a neat idea, it takes me at least a full hour to write a shopping list each week. This a GREAT idea!
4I've just joined, so apologies for replying late. This is a fantastic idea! I always forget things at the grocery, or sometimes I go without a list and just buy what I see (a VERY bad idea!). I've recently moved into my own apartment (alone) and I was never the one to do the shopping, so it is difficult to try to figure out.
If you could pass along this list? It looks great, and very thorough.
Cheers.
5I am one of those as well.
6good job. i'm going to post my vegetarian list!
